10/17/22 The meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG) with 14 members in attendance, introductions were made and the pledge of allegiance was given by all.

Secretary Communications: no discussion
VE/Education Committee: John Myers KD8ZKE work schedule has changed making him unavailable for VE testing. Please reach out if you are interested in becoming the lead of the VE team.
Repeater Committee: The Repeater amplifier has been repaired by Henry Radio Inc. KB8ELG is planning to install it this weekend. KB8ELG discussed with the owner of Henry Radio and learned the company is unfortunately ceasing to exist.
Emergency Services: The Emergency Services Net continues on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 8:00 PM. It is decided to alternate net control. KB8ELG, KE8ITJ and KE8OKA will present quarterly on a rotating basis. If anyone else would like to be net control please reach out.
Field Day: no discussion.
OSPOTA: still awaiting official results.
Masonic Lodges on the Air (MLOTA): Fulton 248 reached Second Place for the category they were in. 57 qsos, four lodges, score 285. Nice job!
Hamfest Committee: FCARC Winter Hamfest will be Saturday December 3, 2022 at the City of Archbold Ruihley Park Pavilion. Besides other plans, discussed having a FCARC Swag table this year.
Club Stickers: KE8ITJ has priced making FCARC stickers. ~150 3” x 3” stickers can be purchased for ~$120 on 4Imprint.com. These will have the same logo as our club t-shirts, including website url. A motion to purchase these was made by KE8ITJ and seconded by KE8QJV, all were in favor.
Summer Hamfest: will continue to discuss
2022 Christmas Party: After discussion with everyone in attendance, it is decided that the FCARC 2022 Christmas Party will be held Saturday December 10 6:30PM at the Blue Ribbon Diner in Wauseon. KE8QJV has confirmed this is OK with the owner and will provide them head count one week prior.
KE8QJV discussed the importance of interviewing experienced FCARC veterans so their stories will not be forgotten.
Should FCARC meetings be videotaped and uploaded to a virtual format? Also discussed broadcasting meetings on the repeater but decided against. Will continue to discuss.

VE Testing: FCARC gives testing at 9:00 am the last Saturday of each month at the Fulton County Administration Building. Contact John Myers (KD8ZKE) if interested, you can find his email address on the k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.
Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.
The next regular club meeting will be 11/21/22 at Fulton County Administration Building in the Conference Room on the second floor.
