The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm by Bryan Patterson (KB8ELG) with 18 members and guests in attendance on the 147.195+ k8bxq repeater.

Silent Key Report:

Treasurers Report: no report over the air

Bills to Present: nothing to present

VE Testing: KD8ZKE reported three interested in testing for March 27.

Hamfest Committee: The next FCARC sponsored Hamfest will be the summer trunk swap on June 5, 2021, followed by the Winter Hamfest on December 4, 2021. Both events have been registered with the ARRL.

Old Business:

• KD8ZKE is now officially the VE lead for the Fulton County VE Team.

• No further requests for assistance from the County EMA at this time for their Covid clinics, but we will be at the ready should our help be requested.

• KE8ITJ completed paper work with the County EMA regarding the LEPC committee. The only items remaining are to sign the papers in person which will be sent to Columbus for final approval.

Emergency Services:

W8TUX is planning a deployment exercise for the second Wednesday in April (14^th).  Details are forthcoming.

Correspondence/Comments:

• KG8FM wanted to make everyone aware of a single sideband net Friday evenings at 7:30pm run by WD8JVB out of Sherwood on 144.230 USB.
• KD8WSL will be moving to western Michigan, but looks forward to seeing everyone at large club events like the Hamfests. He does have a tower, antenna and cables for sale, please contact him if interested in a purchase.
• WB8ZOI reported seeing K8JPD’s silent key listing in QRZ.

VE Testing: The club gives testing at 9am the last Saturday of each month at the Fulton 248 Masonic Lodge in Delta, OH...contact John Myers (KD8ZKE) if interested, you can find his contact information on the k8bxq.org website under the VE Testing section.

Saturday morning breakfast at the Delta 109 at 9:00 AM, in downtown Delta, OH.

The next regular club meeting will be Monday, March 15, 2021 at 7:30pm with location to be determined based on COVID conditions in Ohio.
